You can use this as a personal protection device by pressing the panic key that will set off either the system siren or send a silent panic signal to a central station monitoring service to send the police.

To use the device, simply press and hold a button for one second. The one second activation requirement is used to prevent the device from activating accidentally. Additionally, the panic button must be held down for three seconds. This is to prevent any false alarms from occurring on the system. The alarm system should quickly receive the command and perform the desired action.

When a command is received by the system, the key fob device will produce an LED light and a beeping sound. This will provide the user with confirmation that a command has been successfully executed. The device's compact design and key ring will them let them conveniently carry the device anywhere they go.

NOTE: The maximum range for a PowerG Sensor when used with an IQ Panel 2 Plus System is only 2,000 feet in open air. This is considerably less than the advertised 2km range. The 2km range refers to when a PowerG Sensor is used with a DSC PowerSeries NEO System.
