Orchestral Suites by Johann Sebastian Bach are performed by Aurèle Nicolet, flute (BWV 1067, 1030), Karl Richter, harpsichord (BWV 1030, 1056) and the Münchener Bach-Orchester conducted by Karl Richter (BWV 1067, 1068, 1056). Recorded June 14-19, 1960, Herkulessaal, München (BWV 1067, BWV 1068); April 2-6, 1973, München (BWV 1030); and July 11-13, 1972, Bavaria Musikstadt, München (BWV 1056).

The reissue of classical music masterpieces by ESOTERIC has attracted a lot of attention, both for its uncompromising commitment to recreating the original master sound, and for using hybrid Super Audio CD (SACD) technology to improve sound quality.
