Something very special occurred in a tiny tin shed in Hope, Arkansas in 1946 when Paul W. Klipsch ( PWK ), genius, madman and maverick, designed and hand-built the legendary Klipschorn® speaker to enable people to experience the power, detail and emotion of a live performance at home
Fully Horn-Loaded
With its three-way system, each driver is coupled to a horn and optimized to operate in its individual pass-band.
Best In-class Efficiency
The three-way, horn-loaded system makes the Klipschorn up to 20 times more efficient than other conventional loudspeakers. Higher efficiency yields greater acoustic power and the cleanest sound possible.
All New Theater
Featuring a neodymium tweeter with a 1" polyimide diaphragm and copper-clad aluminum voice coil, the lightweight diaphragm assembly and strong magnetic structure creates the tweeter's extremely high 109dB sensitivity.
Updated Design
The Klipschorn's low frequency horn has been redesigned and is now fully enclosed. This eliminates the need for the loudspeakers to be positioned snuggly in a corner.
Premium Input & Wire Management
The Klipschorn features a riser base to enhance the look of the speaker while also ensuring speaker cables are hidden. An aluminum input panel accommodates speaker cables of any length and thickness.
Don't mess with perfection
The Klipschorn enclosure continues to be designed and assembled in the USA, by proud craftspeople in Hope, Arkansas, just as they have been since 1946.
"The Mid-range Is Where We Live." - PWK
A critical part of any loudspeaker design, the Klipschorn's midrange utilizes a 1 ½" compression driver mated to a high-efficiency exponential horn to maximize power and performance.
Book-matched Wood Veneers
Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series speakers. The veneer leaves are kept in order and arranged to provide a mirror image, like turning the pages of a book.
Three Classic Finishes
Power. Detail. Emotion.
In 1946, company founder Paul W. Klipsch set out to bring the power, detail, and emotion of the live music experience into homes across the globe. He left an indelible mark upon the world, in the form of the Heritage line of speakers. The Klipsch Jubilee, Klipschorn, La Scala, Cornwall, Forte, and Heresy speakers are still designed and handcrafted in the United States today.
Because Klipsch Heritage speakers are built to last, we now offer a 10-year warranty on all current and future generation Heritage Classic speakers.
