All cables require burn-in to perform properly. For phono cables with DIN connectors, this has been a problem: Just playing records with a low output phono cartridge may never be enough to fully burn them in, and, until now, no other burn-in option has been available.

Now, with the RSX DIN Phono Cable Burn-in Adaptor, DIN equipped phono cables can easily be burned in using any cable burn-in device, tuner, CD player, or other line-level signal source.

How to install

1. Just plug the female DIN end of the adaptor into the male DIN end of your cable
2. Using the RCA ends of the adaptor, plug the adaptor/cable combination into the outputs of any burn-in device or other RCA-type signal source
3. Plug the RCA ends of your phono cable into the Inputs of an amplifier, preamp, receiver, or other suitable loading device
4. Allow the source device to play continuously through the cable and adaptor for as long as your cable’s manufacturer recommends.
   Note: Although the Source Device Must be turned on for burn-in to occur, the amplifier or other load device does not need to be, as long as it is set to the proper inputs.
5. When the appropriate amount of burn-in time has passed, remove the adaptor, properly connect your phono cable for use, and enjoy the music!

Lifetime Warranty

Every RSX™ cable is warranted for life against manufacturing defects of any kind. This warranty is not exclusive to the original buyer, but may be transferred from one buyer to the next in perpetuity. This lifetime warranty applies only to defects incurred at the time of manufacture, and does not apply to normal wear-and-tear or to subsequent damage or failure as a result of misuse or mishandling. RSX cables contain no user serviceable parts. Any attempt to open the cable or its connectors will immediately void this warranty.

If your cable or other RSX product fails as a result of faulty materials or manufacture at any time, contact RSX at [email protected] for a return authorization and send the product back to us by prepaid carrier. RSX will determine, in its sole discretion, if the failure is under warranty and, if so, will repair it or replace it with a new cable of the same or a more current model of the same or better performance and send it back to you, delivery prepaid.
