The album This Old Heart Of Mine from The Isley Brothers was originally released in 1966. This 50th Anniversary Edition is pressed on 180 gram Heavyweight Vinyl and features the songs "Take Some Time Out For Love", "I Hear A Symphony", 'I Guess I'll Always Love You", and more. The title song has been covered by many artists through the years including Rod Stewart in 1975. In 1990, Ronald Isley and Rod Stewart released a Top 10 duet version of the song.

The 1966 single "This Old Heart of Mine ( Is Weak For You ) peaked at number 6 in the US R&B charts.

Initially influenced by gospel and doo-wop music, the group later began experimenting with elements of rock and funk music as well as pop balladry.

The album is released as a part of the UMe Respect The Classics campaign, and on vinyl for the first time in over 20 years.
